Concept: Spatial planning, mood and material direction — the big ideas agreed before any detail is drawn. 3. Design: Detailed drawings, 3D views, joinery, lighting and finishes, refined together until every piece is right. 4. Build: Hands-on site direction, vendor coordination and quality checks through execution. 5. Kirti Nagar, Delhi. 550 sq yd, 2024. A 50-year-old property, rich with history and character, transformed from the ground up into a showcase for luxury furniture. This 50-year-old property in Delhi’s furniture district had character to spare but no longer served the business. We rebuilt it from the ground up as a sequence of rooms rather than a warehouse floor — so every collection is seen the way it would live in a home. A gallery of rooms: Fluted timber screens, panelled walls and an arched display frame each set a stage. Burl-wood cladding, brass sconces and a slatted timber ceiling bring warmth and rhythm, while concealed lighting lets the furniture take the spotlight. Moments to pause: A crystal-lit lounge framed by dark rosewood-toned doors, a quiet corner for a grand piano, and generous sightlines between spaces invite customers to slow down, sit, and imagine the pieces at home. Highlights: Scope Complete rebuild & interior architecture; Palette Burl wood, ivory panelling, brass, dark timber; Signature Fluted screens, arched display, crystal lounge. A luxurious office in a bustling mall, opening onto a vast open-to-sky courtyard behind a 56-foot dark-wood frontage. Set in a prime spot within a busy mall, this office looks out over a vast open-to-sky courtyard. Our aim was an inviting, luxurious environment that feels part of its surroundings rather than sealed off from them. The ceiling: Warm beige timber slats form a hut-shaped, tapered ceiling that rises to its highest point at the centre, making the room feel expansive. Services sit discreetly along the sides, keeping the centre clean and uncluttered. Walls & façade: Three walls are wrapped in a rich, dark wood palette chosen to match the exterior. That palette flows straight through the 56-foot glazed frontage, so inside and out read as one striking, unified presence on the mall promenade. Highlights: Ceiling Tapered, hut-shaped timber slats; Walls Dark wood palette matched to the façade; Frontage 56 ft glazed façade. Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. 100 sq yd, 2024. A minimal, warm-toned renovation that lets bridal and occasion wear stand out — and makes shoppers want to stay. The client’s vision was clear: a minimal showroom in a soft, warm palette, so the clothing stands out while customers feel welcome and comfortable in the heart of one of Delhi’s busiest markets. Calm by design: Clean lines and simple, elegant fixtures keep the space from overwhelming the garments. Beige, soft browns and muted golds complement every colour on the rails, with wood and linen adding warmth and quiet sophistication. Light and flow: Warm, carefully placed lighting draws the eye to each display without glare. The layout opens up circulation so shoppers browse easily, and every rack is designed to highlight pieces without clutter. (The staircase was outside the renovation scope.) Highlights: Palette Beige, soft brown, muted gold; Materials Wood, linen, warm lighting; Result Uncluttered displays, easy circulation. A French-inspired bakery that grew from a cloud kitchen into a studio and takeaway store, with its brand in every detail. Zoella began life mainly as a cloud kitchen. As the brand grew, it needed a space customers could see and step into — a working kitchen that doubles as a studio and takeaway store. A kitchen made to be seen: Long marble-topped islands in pale timber give bakers room to work and guests a view of the craft. Brass lantern pendants, track lighting and greenery along the windows give it the feel of a Parisian atelier. Brand in the details: The palette of warm wood, white marble and Zoella’s signature red carries the brand identity through every surface — from the logo wall to the trays on the counter. Highlights: Concept Working kitchen + studio + takeaway; Materials White marble, pale timber, brass; Signature Lantern pendants over long islands. A Parisian-style pop-up for Zoella Patisserie — blooms, lanterns and a glowing menu that turned a festival stall into a destination. We craft stall setups that carry a brand’s essence into a temporary space. For Zoella, the brief was to stand out on a crowded festival lane and feel unmistakably like the patisserie. Concept to execution: A red-framed shopfront with French windows, hanging greenery and a sea of pink blooms frame tiered pastry displays. A backlit menu easel works as a beacon after dark, pulling visitors in from across the grounds. Highlights: Scope Concept, fabrication & on-site setup; Signature Floral base, French windows, lit menu. Page: https://samridhikhattar.com/projects/zoella-stall
